All of our products come with fitting kits where applicable.We highly recommend professional installations are completed by a professional to ensure the product is fitted correctly

The AP. FORGED 40 | DEEP DISH are meticulously forged and produced in accordance with your preferences.

This afford us the ability to customize inch sizes, widths, and offsets to correspond with your specific desires.

The wheel spokes are machined from a forged blank, while the wheel beds are constructed from aluminium using flow-forming technology.

 

ASM FORGED rims are created from compressed aluminium. The desired spoke design is turned and milled from the forged blanks. 

This intricate manufacturing process doesn’t require any specialised tooling, making these forged rims a non-mass-produced product. Instead, they are carefully crafted individually in batches, involving time-consuming processes and intricate work steps.

The forging process enhances the solidity of the aluminium, thereby increasing the rim’s stability.

Leveraging these material properties allows us to reduce wall thicknesses ultimately decreasing the weight of the forged rim by 1.5 KG compared to conventionally cast rims.

It’s important to note that the wider the rim, the more beneficial the forging techniques become.

 

Performance-oriented drivers prioritize lightweight rims for their vehicles for several reasons:

 

  • Weight directly affects acceleration and braking. Weight positioned closer to the centre has less impact on rim acceleration, similar to a flywheel. Lightweight rims achieve their maximum effect when weight is minimised in the outer circumference.
  • Unsprung masses consist not only of the wheel, but also include the brake and the wheel flanges, essentially everything that cannot be dampened by the shock absorber. These components respond immediately to bumps in the road, causing the tire to bounce slightly. When this unsprung mass jumps over the road, the tire loses its grip. Lightweight rims can help mitigate this issue.
  • Lightweight rims only realize their full potential when paired with high-performance tires such as Ultra High Performance ( UHP ) tires. These light tires aid in reducing the unsprung masses and, due to their larger size, have a particularly significant impact on the wheel-tire combination.
